Is Google Looking to Acquire Hubspot?

Google parent company Alphabet has reportedly been consulting advisors about the  possibility of making an offer for HubSpot.

Hubspot, with a market value of $35 billion, was previously thought to be the target of a takeover by Amazon. 

With more than 200,000 customers in over 135 countries, Hubspot would represent the biggest ever acquisition for Alphabet, and would provide it with access to a wider base of higher spending enterprise customers. 

Whether this deal goes through remains to be seen. but in an era where big tech firms have been targeting more efficient growth, it's a deal that would stand out.
