Runable has raised $21 million in Series A funding to expand its AI platform for building, running, and growing small businesses from a single workspace. The round was co-led by Susquehanna Venture Capital and Nexus Venture Partners, with existing investors Together Fund and Array VC also participating. It marks a shift for the category, moving AI agents past one-off builders (a website here, a deck there) into always-on operators that also run marketing, sales, and ops.

From Software Creation to Full Business Operations

Founded in 2025 by Umesh Kumar and Saksham Sarda, the Bengaluru-based startup has grown to roughly 1.5 million users with a team of just 15 people. It says its launch took annualised revenue from zero to $2 million in three weeks.

Runable's platform builds websites, mobile apps, internal tools and pitch decks, complete with the infrastructure behind them: databases, authentication, payments and deployment. Once a product ships, the same platform can run market analysis, prospect generation, social content, customer support, SEO and answer engine optimisation, keeping strategy and execution in one workflow instead of stitched across a dozen tools.

Marketing Is the Next Frontier

The company is now pushing into AI-driven customer acquisition, running campaigns across ChatGPT Ads, Meta, Google, LinkedIn and TikTok, and supporting cold email, DMs and voice calls through a real phone number. Susquehanna Venture Capital and Nexus Venture Partners frame the round as closing the gap between AI-generated output and measurable business outcomes for the small businesses Runable serves, many of which run with only two people.

What It Means for Marketing

Runable is a clear signal that "AI agent" is expanding well past code and content generation into the full revenue engine, especially for teams too small to hire specialist marketers. As agentic platforms start running paid campaigns and outbound with no human touch on execution, the pressure shifts to measurement and trust: can an operator verify what an agent spent, who it messaged, and what it actually returned. Runable's arc from AI infrastructure to full-stack business agent is worth watching as a template for how fast "does one thing well" tools become "does everything" platforms.
