Slack code of conduct

Our slack community is for our AntiCon events series community and LXA course alumni. Our goal is to make marketing technology simple – and through our in person and virtual events, we strive to educate, entertain and engage our community and empower them with martech insight to help power their overall marketing strategies.

LXA is dedicated to a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, beliefs or religious opinions. We do not tolerate harassment of anyone within LXA’s sphere of activities, in any form, online or offline.

With all LXA activities, we expect participants to:

  • Contribute towards a safe and productive environment where everyone feels able to express themselves without prejudice
  • Listen to others’ ideas and contributions; allow everyone to have a chance to speak
  • Discuss any disagreements that arise in a respectful and objective manner
  • Pay attention when others voice their discomfort or state their boundaries
  • Challenge or report any behaviour which does not adhere to this code of conduct
  • If you are unsure whether your planned behaviour or comments may cause discomfort to others: ask.

This community is a place for

Event discussion – This is a place to discuss the themes raised in the event sessions, dig deep and broaden your knowledge on the topic presented

Connecting – Seek solutions for your martech problems by connecting with our event sponsors, partners and other community members and expand your professional network.

Inspiration – Learn from and be inspired by community members and speakers alike.

Education – Most importantly build out your marketing technology knowledge via session topics, shared ideas, resources and more.

It’s not a place for:

Selling - We're here to learn and connect. Please do not use the forum to cold sell your product/services. We do however encourage attendees to make their way to the #sponsor-partner channel to connect with our event Sponsors and chat more about their sessions and solutions.

Vendor connections - This community is specifically a resource for members to connect, learn, and exchange ideas. Messaging is focused on finding solutions rather than promoting tools, products, or services.
