Marketing Operations Mechanics: Build tools, workflows & processes with No-Code

This programme is delivered completely online via a blend of on-demand and live tutorials. Over the course of six weeks, learners will engage with the course materials and complete independent exercises to develop their no-code skills. Learners who complete the programme will be equipped with the foundational skills they need to start independently building their own applications.


Module 1: Understand

In module 1, we’ll introduce the concepts of no-code and low-code. The goal here is simply to explain what no-code & low-code is and why this topic has application for marketing operations professionals. We’ll outline how no-code can help marketers do their jobs better and no-code solutions can be deployed within an organisation that already has its own internal development unit.


Module 2: Think

Before you start using no code, we want you to start thinking like a developer so we’ve designed module 2, Think, to introduce you to the foundational concepts needed to build useful programmes. We’ll explain what is meant by algorithmic thinking and you’ll start developing a mindset to identify algorithms that are happening all around you.  


Module 3: Analyse

In module 3, Analyse, we’ll examine business needs so that we can start to model the flow of data through our processes and systems with a view to identifying opportunities to architect new flows and processes.


Module 4: Design 

In module 4, Design, you will start to functionally design new work and data flows which you will then translate into no-code solutions in module 5.


Module 5: Activate

In module 5, you will activate everything you’ve learned by creating your own no code app in Bubble. We’ve designed the course to get all learners to create the same application. We’ve designed it like this to make sure all learners are equipped with the fundamentals of what you need to become an independent no-code developer. In this section, you will get access to a series of hands-on tutorials which we’ll support with live clinics to help you if you get stuck.

Your tutor will take you through eight lessons that will teach you how to build a social media application like Instagram. You will learn:

  • How to build a mobile user interface
  • How to use workflows to navigate and manage data
  • How to create, edit, delete and manage data
  • How to manage user accounts and keep data private
  • How to use conditional logic to personalise the user experience
  • How to launch your app and share it with friends
